The Sex Cult Cousins brings classic head banging, hip-shaking rock to the Garden of Unearthly Delights this Fringe season. If your scene is moderate to heavy rock then I suggest getting a ticket to this show.
Though I didn’t have many expectations for the show, I walked out pleasantly surprised by how much I enjoyed myself. Despite not being a hard-core rock music fan I couldn’t help but dance to the catchy songs. The lead singer committed his full energy to the performance as he belted notes high and low, all the while dancing on stage. One particular highlight of the show was when the drummer and lead guitarist battled it out, switching between each other during the instrumental solo.
Half the audience was enthusiastic, freely dancing at the front of the stage, while others seemed a bit impartial to the show. So if rock music isn’t really your thing, then this might be a show to miss.
But if you’re out at the Fringe, a little bit tipsy, and looking for a place to dance and/or listen to talented musicians, then head on down to The Garden to watch The Sex Cult Cousins LIVE! LIVE! LIVE!
